German pistol holster of WWII era fitting for Walther PP and PPk pistols of pre 1945 vintage. Holster is made of solid paper pressed ersatz material. On the outside it is covered by a vinyl coating to render it water repellant. Only the closure strap is made of black cowhide leather. All stitchings are tight and nothing tends to loosen. There is no hallmark present on this holster. The carrying loop is of the wide design to fit military uniform belts. The closure stud is made of aluminum while rivet washer is made of steel . Holster was in use but shows only some surface blisters of the vinyl coating. Flap can be bent and is not cracked. In one image you can see a magazine inserted. This is not for sale and only for demonstration only.The mag does not come with the holster! Very characteristic imprints of the diamond checkering from the PPk grip are visible on the inside and on the break away flap. Holster has not been treated with new leather preservative, shoe cream or other fluids. All is in the as received state. An honest piece for the German military holster and/or Walther pistol collector.Holster comes out of a German collection and therefore will be shipped from Germany directly to the buyer.
