Your lucky chance to get a 1938 Matching DURKOPP K98k bayonet. These early examples are hard at best to get in good shape. The Durkopp's are even harder to come by in an acceptable condition, let alone a very nice condition. Well collectors,, one is for the lucky winner !!! The MATCHING serial number is 678 E. The UNSHARPENED blade is in 93% condition or better. The cross gaurd shows some discoloration/ rust in the pics, but in "real life" it's not bad. The pommel has two waffenampts and t actually looks to be a feint image of a third. The spine of the blade dispalys a 38. The spine is in excellent condtion. The tip is super on this early gem. see pics. T is no number on the locking lug bolt. The Locking lug bolt functions perfectly. I have not removed the grips due to one "stuck" grip screw. The grips are wood and look to be in decent shape. The scabbard has matching number / Maker/ year to the bayonet. The overall blueing on the scabbard I would rate at 91%. Maybe more. See pics. This scabbard has the spring screw that is so often missing from early examples. The finial waffenamt is clearly visable and nicely done. see pics. Please see all pics and judge for yourselves. Will ship world wide with exception of Italy , China , and Greece . So no bidders from t It is the responsibilty of the buyer to know your own importation read more
