German WWII Luftwaffe JU-88 Tool Bag I found this item in cleaning out my grandfathers attic. Very rare example of the tool case carried on board the JU-88 aircraft for emergency repairs and maintenance. It is produced from grey green canvas having brown leather edge binding and straps. The top flap has a heavy leather handle and retains white stenciled designation markings and serial number. The fold open interior has fitted leather straps to retain various tools along with a cello document window. A small, snap closed pocket under the top flap still contains several screwdriver bits. The case shows light wear and age, being in good shape considering its original purpose. A rare example for the Luftwaffe collector and in very good condition.
