This helmet was reslisted because of an error i saw in the previous listing. I run multiple auctions and I saw I had this was listed as an all the way around reproduction. The shell is original and the outer liner band is original. The shell was repainted, chicken wire was added and a REPRO liner was added! I apologize for the mistake in my listing! Up for sale is a original M40 german ww2 helmet shell. It is a Q 64 which is the maker Quist and is the most sought after maker of German WWII Helmets. I have repainted this helmet to mimick a Normandy Pattern. I also added a full basket chicken wire to it. The liner is aged to make it look worn and as a bonus the outer liner band is original. This helmet shows great wear and would look great in any collection. T was a tri color shield added and then scraped off and then sprayed over to make it look it was removed per 1942 specs.T is another decal on but I sprayed over it to cover it up.
