GERMAN WWII VEHICLE FLAG / PENNANT / WIMPEL w/ FRAME. This is a beautiful pennant with the metal support frame. The embroidery is excellent, with a gold eagle on a blue field. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Roughly, 8 1/2" tall at the hoist end, 14" long, horizontal, isosceles triangle, loosely woven, dual-ply, blue fabric construction, dual sided, pennant features a embroiderednational eagle, with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, symbolin it's talons in gold threads with black accent threads to each side. The eagle shows nice detailing and has a wingspan of roughly, 5 1/2" from tip to tip. The pennant is mounted on an internal, alloy bar frame with closed, suspension loops to both the top and bottom of the hoist edge. The pennant is in overall very good condition with some minor age toning. Pictures available upon request.
