Magnificent German WWII Wehrmacht (Army) leather cavalry saddle. Original WWII manufacture. M1925 saddle as used by the German Army in nearly every theater during World War Two. Clearly marked on the back of the cantle as a size 3 (European), and with the Waffenamt mark with code WaA34, and also with the manufacturer code eqr with the date 44 underneath (indicating 1944). Magnificent supple leather covered tree with superb, tight stitching. The leather hand-strap designed to carry the saddle has split, but the saddle is otherwise in excellent, undisturbed and presumably un-issued condition. Please see the images included.
