Gerz Stein For Harvard Lampoon . Condition is Used. The Harvard Lampoon is an undergraduate humor publication founded in 1876 by seven undergraduates at Harvard University in Cambridge, MALampoon beer steins was a gift exclusively to members of the Harvard Lampoon at a reunion a few years ago. the design is faux-Delft, a well-known traditional style of Dutch painted tiles (named after the city where it originated); many Delft tiles decorate the interior of the Lampoon’s historic building at 0 Freedom Square, Cambridge MA.The imagery on the stein is of the front of the Lampoon building (you can see images online), plus an ibis (a storklike bird that is among the mascots of the Lampoon), and perhaps also a jester —Graduates of the Lampoon — an undergraduate college organization dedicated to humor — went on to write for SNL and the Simpsons, and many more popular shows, such as The Good Place.Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
