Gerz West Germany Beer Stein Mug with Lid Description : A0608BYou are bidding on a Gerz Lidded Beer Stein. This tall mug was made in West Germany.This stein is 9 1/2" tall, including the silver pewter lid. The mug by itself is 7 1/2" tall with an opening of 2 3/4" in diameter. It is in excellent condition.The inside mug and the bottom & top rims are a deep, royal blue color. The scene is of a beer maiden serving ale to a gentleman who is lounging at a table, just outside a German village. The main colors in the scene are gold, green and rust. Also part of the scene are the German words: Keinen Tropfen & Imbecher Mehr I'm told that this is the first line in a drinking song.
