This auction is for a vintage GI JOE item. I am not a collector but had the chance recently to pick up a grouping of very clean GI Joe items from the original owner who was selling me his toy trains ~ which had not been played with very much either. I was amazed at how nice these are and will now pass them on to you, the bidders. I started some of them at a price that will protect my investment but not too high based on condition and rarity. The clothing is crisp with no signs of staining, discoloration or washing, the dolls have no wear or scratching to the hair or bodies and all of the accessories appear to be present. THIS LOT INCLUDES: RARE #5978 GREEN BERET Machine Gun Outpost - Sears Exclusive 1966 Set w/Ex+ Orignal Box & Contents - the title says it all. Extemely nice box with very little wear, two scarfaced soldiers in very clean uniforms. Sealed packets include 6 grenades, bushes, stakes for netting (which has nevber been used. The only flaw in the whole set is that the machine gun has a 'melt' spot underneath that affects one of the mounting pins for the base (I have to believe it could be easily replaced with another original gun).
