Bursting Andromeda Sputnick Kenneth J Lane Pendant Brooch GIANORMOUS Kenneth J Lane vintage Brooch / Pendant featuring textured gold tone rays backing a shower of clear sparkling stones surrounding a large emerald cut blue center stone. It's HUGE! 3" in length; 2 7/8" in width and is more than 1/2" height from the base. Overall design is suggestive of a whirling star or bursting Andromeda.This piece is constructed in four layers. The first or bottom layer is a spray of textured gold plated rays. The next layer is a mix of 16 sprays and pinwheel shapes with round stones and marquis stones (eight of each) In the next layer are 20 beautiful marquis shaped glitterati all surrounding a large foil backed glorious deep blue glass stone. The center stone measures 11/16" in length.Marked on the back K J L in an oval plaque with a ® below it. Note: this piece has the pin bar missing. It can still be worn as a pendant, but will need to have the pin replaced by a jeweler before one can wear it as a brooch. I've gone over every stone and I did see one small round clear rhinestone missing. There is a close up photo of this area. No dead stones.
