T his is a "Giant Scoop" Imported Briar from Italy. It has an "R" in a circle brass or gold logo embedded in the stem that looks like the logo used by Roverart Ricciolo on its Fatta a mano models distributed over the years under the Ardor name.Ardor pipes are made by the Rovera family of Varese, Italy and have been around since 1911. Originallyfour brothers - Frederico, Carlo, Cornelio and Franscesco - started thecompany which would become known as Ardor, and produced many pipes that became popular throughout Europe and the United States. Its push-type bent saddelbit mouthpiece has only one light tooth abrasion on the underside but I do not grind down mouthpieces and destroy their structural integrity. This pipe has been smoked, but not abused. This pipe is 5-1/8 inches long. The inside diameter of the bowl is 13/16 of an inch. The height of the bowl is 1-1/2 inches. I don't smoke dirty pipes, tfore I don't sell dirty pipes. This one has been cleaned and sanitized and is ready to smoke. I use nothing but non-toxic, biodegradable products in restoring estate pipes.
