Vintage 1955 Gibson ES-140 Guitar. Serial/Factory Order Number W287529. Far from perfect, but a really sweet player's grade example that you can afford. Almost all original, I added the strap buttons and some new control knobs. Features: original tuners (usable, just be careful), & original electronics. Bridge thumbwheels look a bit newer. No breaks or major repairs, although at the cutout bout areas (both front & back) there looks to be a bit of shrinkage/separation that somebody glued a long time ago (nothings moving, but it's not flush- see pics). Also there's a bit of finish loss around the bridge area. A couple of spots also where some of the finish flaked (near the neck). No pickguard, no truss rod cover, and no case....I need to thin the herd a bit, and looking for a good home. United States customers and shipments only. Will be super-lovingly packed. No reserve, and Added 12/1/11: Question about the electronics being all-original: Yes, the guitar was disassembled to clean the pots (they were "gunked-tight"/wouldn't turn when I got this), and it has the old P-90, controls, and cornell-dublier tone capacitor.
