I guess I'm getting out of the business. this sits in the closet all the time, and we're moving again, so... RECORDS AND PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY! Walnut. Free shipping to lower 48. This Gibson 335 is currently strung with flatwound 12's, for a real sweet jazz sound. Serial number 967383. I believe its a 1972. Schaller tuners replaced the originaltuners, so old screw holes from the Gibson tuners on the back of the headstockremain. I replaced the stud tailpiece with a Schaller fine tuning microtune tailpiece. Of course the stud tailpiece was a replacement of the original trapeze tailpiece, those old holes remain. See photo. I will include the stud tailpiece as well if you don’t like the microtune. But this tunes up absolutely great, and stays in tune. The gloss finish has worn away just a bit on the top of the neck between the 5 th and 9 th fret. This was due to normal playing wear. See Photo. Frets are in good condition. Body looks great . On the back, no bucklerash, but a few light scratches that have not cut through the finish, barely noticeable. Comes with a worn but functional non original hardshell case.
