Gibson GA-40 Les Paul Amp Made In USA 1952-1955 Brown Two Tone LP Grille Introduced in conjunction with the Les Paul Guitar 1x12 Jensen Alnico 5 Made In Chicago Speaker 70watts/14 Handle still intact which is very rare on this amp Two-tone leatherette covering, plastic grille insert with L P monogram Checkerboard grille Gold Gibson logo above grille Missing one knob Amp is not working please see photos below The power cord was cut at some point. Has some tubes still intact but some are broken or missing From what ive been told this amp will need to be completely re-wired, new caps, tubes, fuse. These amp need a certified guitar/amp/electrical tech to really overview and rewire and fix this amp Please understand this is a very rare vintage amp, if buyer decides to fix, buyer is fully responsible for this amp. I don’t have to many techs in my area who can fix this amp. According to the Vintage Guitar Price Guide 2011 this amp on a high end goes for $1875. On a low end $1525. I have this priced accordingly considering this amp need some repairs. I also consider to the buyers this can also be used as a very unique cab if you wanted.
