WOW - this is really a beautiful piece. I am having problems with my camera and have not been able to get a picture that would do this justice. This piece stands 12" tall to the top of the finial. It is crackle glass and goes to solid glass at the neck. The handle is also solid vaseline glass. The finial is blown and all crackle. It is rare to find a Vaseline Glass piece by Gibson, but even more rare to find vaseline and crackle glass together. On the bottom t is a marking that reads "Gibson" "2002" T are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings in this piece. It is absolutely perfect and glows beautifullly under the black light. Below is an insert from some research I did on Gibson glass. Gibson does not actually batch Vaseline Glass. They work from cullet, normally Fenton. Because of this, they are not able to produce Vaseline just anytime they wish. They are dependent on a supply of cullet. In recent years, this has not been a problem and they have regularly produced Vaseline once each year. Production runs at Gibson are remarkably small and the pieces are often quite limited before they even hit the shelves. Cruets are their biggest sellers and they may produce a gross of a single style. By comparison, Fenton may produce 2500 of a single piece and consider it "limited".
