Deluxe version of the L6. 1975. Maple body and maple neck. Fingerboard has been stained to look darker. Body has been refinished, paint removed and is natural with tung oil finish. Body and neck have a very nice smooth feel. Original parts. Bill Lawrence designed pickups. Missing pickguard. Perfect intonation, plays very well. 24 fret neck, 6.2 lbs. Serial number 397849. Will be shipped with gigbag. Single cutaway, maple body, 2 humbucking pick-ups with ceramic metal covers and no visible poles, 2 knobs (volume and tone), 3-way tone/pickup selector switch, jack into top, large rectangular tune-o-matic bridge, strings anchor through body on a diagonal line, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret maple fingerboard, decal logo, metal tuner buttons, chrome-plated hardware, 24 ¾” scale, natural finish. Will be shipped UPS ground to domestic destinations. International shipping dependent on size restrictions of country. I've been informed that this model is a Gibson "Midnight Special". Made from 1974-79 and only about 2000 made. It is slightly different than the Deluxe. The Deluxe will always have a black headstock with white "Gibson". The Midnight Special will always have the blonde maple headstock with black "Gibson". The screw pattern shown for the pick guard matches that of the Midnight, which is different on the Deluxe.
