I bought it with the pickup in. It is a genuine Gibson pickup and as the price tag would suggest, far superior output and tonal variations to the original. No fret wear and a few small marks from use. There is a chipped area of paint on the side of the headstock and a hairline scratch on the bottom of the guitar as shown in the picture. These were already there when I bought it along with some light buckle rash on the back - hardly visible. There are a few use related marks but nothing that detracts from the great looks and playability of this guitar. I have tried to show them in the pictures - Looks really cool actually!
