I am the second owner of this sweet Gibson beauty. I purchased it from a friend through the Music store that I worked at in the early to mid 80's. He said he bought it new in 1978. The neck just blew me away. It feels like the best Gibson necks I have ever felt, So I had to have it. That said, it sat around in the case most of the time as I am primarily an electric player. This is a sweet acoustic in great condition. It has the rare wine red/heritage cherry finish. In the twenty five odd years I have had it (for a total guitar life-span of thirty three years), just like any fine acoustic instrument, the tone has opened up considerably. At one time I had an RMC Piezo pickup system installed in the guitar. The only visible evidence is shown in the picture of the end-pin/strap button. The controls of the pickup system reside outside of the guitar so no additional cuts into the guitar were needed or done. The RMC Pickup system is not included in this sale. The RMC Pickup system is arguably the best available, and would be easy to refit a new one if you are so inclined.I have not sold on Ebay for two years or so.
