Face is approx. 5 1/2" in diameter. Bottom has a glass covered scene with a Beautiful Sunset in the distance with cows in a field, large buildings, done with reverse painting on glass I think. The clock was running for the first two days after I got it and ticking loudly, ran down and I have not messed with it since; I assume it still runs but cannot guarantee it. The clock measures 22.75 inches high, 14.5 inches wide by 5 inches deep at its base. The clock is in very good shape for its age.
