This is "The Story of the The Mikado", told in prose by the librettist of the famous Savoy opera team, W. S. Gilbert. It is a first edition, published by Daniel O'Connor, London, in 1921. The book features charming illustrations by Alice B. Woodward, including illustrative endpapers and six full-page color prints. Condition of the book is VG; The paper-covered spine is discolored and fraying, but the binding is tight and the pages are clean and unmarked. No dust jacket.
