You are bidding on an original 35mm Kodak Kodachrome slide of Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team driver Gilles Villeneuve and his Ferrari 126C Formula 1 car . Gilles Villeneuve is standing behind his Ferrari 126C Formula 1 car talking w hile members of the Scuderia Ferrari crew work to get the car ready for the start of the 1981 Long Beach Grand Prix in on March 15, 1981. Gilles Villeneuve drove the 126C Ferrari Formula 1 car that had replaced the 312T series cars in 1981 . Villeneuve's teammate was Didier Pironi. Note: This is the original 35mm slide - I shot it - it is not a copy or a dupe. I am Scott Ely and have been a commercial photographer/photojournalist for more than 3 7 years . I covered motorsports extensively in the 1970's and 1980's. My work has included sports, news, celebrities, music/recording industry, commercial/advertising and editorial photography.
