VINTAGE GENTLEMANS SHAVING / GROOMING KIT IN LEATHER ZIP CASE The case holds 2 screw top chrome phials ( one contains a badger hair shaving brush marked on the base SUPER CELSIT ) 9.5 cm long, 1 chrome phial (screws in the middle) 17.5 cm long suitable for toothbrush, 1 glass bottle with chrome screw top, 1 chrome box containing GILLETTE ARISTOCRAT safety razor, spare blades and original instructions Seems virtually unused ( see picture) Ther are also 3 Wooden backed brushes which show no sign of wear.. The lid holds a leather backed mirror, scissors,nail file, button hook and shoe horn and 2x bakelite tubes with screw tops. One holds Iodine/ Styptic pencil, the other Maclean cleaning tablets.(slight crack) The case measures 28cm x 24cm x 5cm and all of the contents are held down by leather straps There are a few scuff marks on the outside of the case and the odd small mark but still very presentable. The inside is unmarked and the chrome is as new This set would have been expensive when first produced and is still a very practical item as well as being a real collectors piece. The shaving brush and the razor on their own are more than worth the starting price for this lot. I am happy to ship to USA.
