This is a Gillette Double Ring. Serial number 6768, which dates it to 1904, prior to being issued the patent. PAT APL'D FOR is stamped upside down on the barrel. There are two bent corner teeth. One is noticeable and the other just barely so. I have left it as found, with the black of tarnished silver. You can polish it up if that suits you, but as you can see the silver has been worn away around the edges of the cap. There is a hairline crack at the top of the handle. It's not loose and I can't pull it apart (though given the rarity of this razor, I wasn't eager to pull as hard as I can. Suffice it to say that the seam there is snug.)I don't see a crack at the bottom. Check out my other razors!
