The center of each saucer has a scalloped rim for the cup to rest in This is a stunning set in Pinks, Lime Greens, and Rose. Upon a second, closer inspection I have found a small nik in the gold paint trim near the spout. It is on the back side of the pitcher and went unnoticed (sorry). I have found no other faults. T is no crazing, no hairlines and the gold trim and gold on the handles is in excellent condition. I have added a picture to show the nik.
