This is a very rare and older Giuseppe Armani piece. It depicts two little children hitchhiking and you cannot help but laugh with the girl holding her skirt up just a little. You can recognize this as one of Armani's earlier pieces in just the way the girl and boy's facial features are done. The little boy is so cute with his over-sized cap on and traveling bag. The young girl has a big smile on her face. There is just so much charm in this Armani piece which is what made Armani so endearing to all of us. The statue is approximately 7 inches tall and has a base that is approximately 4-5/8 inches in diameter. The statue is in excellent condition with some random paint misses that were common in Armani's earlier pieces. The wood stand is also in very good condition with some light rubs on it. The statue has G Armani's signature embedded in it as well as the N capodimonte crown on it and wish so much I could date it. It is definitely an earlier Armani piece that is just a wonderful treasure.
