Glass Paperweight With Caned Bundles - Fratelli Toso? The piece is characteristic of the fine cane work produced by Fratelli Toso under the artistic direction of Ermanno Toso, although I am not positive of it's identity. The sp's surface is covered with a dense concentration of multicolored cane bundles. The piece has a soft satinized matte finish. The paperweight measures 2" in diameter and 1 ¾" high. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage or noticeable surface wear. The paperweight is unsigned and t is just a small remmnant of a label on the bottom. This striking millefiori design would make a nice addition to any collection of vintage paperweights.
