Reproduction Pharmacy Glass Specie Jar- Arrowroot- with the Coat of Arms- Livery of The Royal College of Physicians- RCP- "Obioc Bpaxych Ae Texnh Makph" "Life is short, Science is Long". This is a REPRODUCTION Glass Pharmacy Specie Jar produced for the NPA- National Pharmaceutical Association by Carlyle Fine Collections in 1989. It cost £99 plus VAT when purchased & is one of a set of six. There were only 500 sets produced. It comes with the original box & packaging. I can supply a photocopy of the original advertising material & Certificate of Authenticity but there is only one & I am selling four on this site- the other two are in the Diamond Mills auction mentioned below. The jar is hand decorated with lavish 22ct Gold & there is some Platinum work according to the description. It is in good condition, possibly a few minor blemishes. I am a retired Pharmacist & purchased the jar in 1989 from the NPA for display in my Pharmacy & later my home. Hand Made Glass Jar is Approx 13" Height 6.5" Diameter. Low starting price, well below what we paid for the items. We love the items & they have been well looked after & loved. We are now at an age where we are down-sizing to a bungalow & with much regret have to part with many things. The items are listed as collection only from Felixstowe.
