Glenn H. Curtiss Typed Letter Signed. One page, 8.5" x 11", Hammondsport, New York, February 16, 1914. Typed on "Curtiss Motor Co." letterhead, Curtiss writes to Carl Dienstbach, in part: "I read with great interest your article in Scientific American. Mr. Genung tells me that you called at our stand at the Show and was greatly interested in our boat." Curtiss (1878-1930) was an aviation pioneer who founded the U.S. aircraft industry and founded the Curtiss-Wright Corporation that built U.S. Army and Navy aircraft during the years leading up to World War I.
