Glitter Glitter! TWO VINTAGE COMPACTS, 1 GOLD MESH BAG Description : I'm currently on jury duty, so am tossing on a few interesting pieces in the evening when I get home. If I don't answer you questions right away, it's because I'm not around for most of the day.This auction is for a big, bright group of vintage glittery pieces. T's a compact, a cigarette case and a 1920s gold mesh bag with a very fine rhinestone decoration. The compact measures 2 3/4" by 2 1/2" and has a lid lavishly covered with 160 faux pearls.It's in excellent condition and t are no missing pearls. The back is bright gold with a pattern of vertical bands and just one small dimple. The clasp works well. Inside, the mirror is bright and generally clear, with just a couple of tiny areas of silvering loss. The powder well is in very bright gold-wash in excellent condition. The large, heavy cigarette or card case measures 3 1/2" by 2" and has a lid covered with 90 rhinestones and hundreds of faux pearls. T is just one rhinestone missing and all the pearls are t The sides are very bright gold and the back is brushed gold with just a little finish wear and no dents.
