GLOSSY UNREAD! Nov 1929 Large Bedsheet-size 25c AMAZING STORIES 1920s Pulp Mag!November 1929 Vol. 4 No. 8 Sci-Fi P ULP M AGAZINEBedsheet-Size Pulp Measuring 8 1/2" x 11 1/2"Offered for auction is this great May 1928 early issue of the AMAZING STORIES Science Fiction pulp magazine containing a feature stories by the early and legendary sci-fi writers, H.G. Wells and Hugo Gernsback. Also found within the covers are (5) stories and (1) serial part. Illustrations and cover by unattributed with a drawing at the TOC portraying Jules Verne's Tombstone at AmiensA great old, inter-war publication in delightful Fine or better condition appearing unread, probably unopened. Much of the original gloss remains at the front cover. Some probably shrinkage-caused wrinkling and a mild 'roll' at the spine of the magazine exist. This delightful old pulp is with less than typical shelf wear, though there are some slight closed tears at edges and slight tears and rubbing at the spine. There are minor chips at the heel and crown of the spine but otherwise original and complete. All pages are present with no bent or dog-earred pages, and there appears to be no other marks or writing inside or out. The pages are tanned, more so at the edges.
