With your help, Glyn Macey's RNLI fund raising project last year raised over £24,000 for the essential work of the RNLI. The funds raised were enough to train and equip 48 new beach lifeguards for beaches around the UK so a huge thank you for all your support! A new location study will be listed in aid of the RNLI each day until December 9th. The artist, who has gained a national and international reputation for paintings of the harbours, moorland and coast of his native Cornwall, auctioned 180 of his original studies on the on-line auction site eBay, with half the proceeds being donated directly to the RNLI. A new painting was auctioned each weekday, with each auction lasting one week.
