I have looked up a lot of histroy of the chimney sweep and why he should be part of your Christmas tree. If you know of a bride to be or a groom to be you should give them a Chimney Sweep for their tree, because he is a sign of good luck, wealth and happiness. T are many legends about him but the one that is most known is from England. King George was riding on horseback in a royal procession. A dog ran from the crowd, barking and nipping at the King's horse. The horse reared and almost threw the King! A lone figure, shabbily dressed and filthy, stepped into the road. He caught the horse's halter and calmed the animal. As quickly as he appeared, the man faded back into the crowd. The King wanted to reward him asking his name. No-one knew him, but they told the King he was just a Chimney Sweep. The King declaired from that day forward the Chimney Sweep should be considered lucky. Another reason they are considered lucky is that after they leave the air was better in the home he visited. So we all should have a Chimney Sweep on our Christmas trees for luck, health, and happiness. This little fellow is ready for your tree standing 2" high before the hook, and 1 1/4" wide.
