This is a very attractive and festive Christmas trivet or wall hanging made by Godinger and themed on the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas". The trivet is made of silver colored metal - possibly silver plate, but t is no sticker on the back, so I can't say for sure - and it is 9 inches in diameter. The center of this gleaming trivet has a decorated Christmas tree surrounded by snowflakes and the words "The 12 Days of Christmas" in banner style across the tree. Surrounding the tree are 12 rings that contain a depiction of each of the items listed in the song. So this trivet has: A partridge in a pear tree, a turtle dove, a French hen, a calling bird, five golden (well, silver colored) rings, a goose, a swan, a milkmaid, a lady dancing, a lord leaping, a piper, and a drummer. The trivet is in very good used condition. It has no scratches or mars on it, and would look great on the table or hanging on a wall during the holiday season. The only flaw I can see is that two of the three rubber covers on the trivet's feet are missing. The trivet is embossed "Godinger" on the back. Thanks for looking.
