This auction is for three (3) reel-to-reel tapes of a 60s garage band called God's Children. I bought these at an antique shop in Toledo, Ohio a few years ago. On one of the tapes the band is practicing the introductions for their live show and it sounds like 2 of the band members were from Connecticut, one was from Brooklyn, NY, and one from Cleveland, OH. So that may explain how these wound up in Ohio. Anyway these tapes have the band performing many 60s garage standards like "Satisfaction", "Midnight Hour", "Steppin' Stone", "Gloria", "Time Won't Let Me", "Louie Louie", etc. I have included several sound clips below so you can get an idea of the music contained on these tapes. One only uses 150' and has "Midnight Hour" as the only full song. The second tape contains 12 songs and includes a hand-written track list. The third tape contains about 10 songs, there is a hand-written track list on the inside of the box but it's not correct. All 3 are different and you are bidding on all 3. Tapes and boxes are in great condition considering their age, I listened to all of them on my reel-to-reel player and they play fine.Obviously I am auctioning only the tapes themselves, there is no included licensing stated or implied.
