We were looking through our Christmas storage bins and came across some items of interest.This is one of them.This is an Original Goebel 'Angel Candleholder Made in West Germany in 1958. She is in Perfect Condition, no chips or cracks.She stands 3&1/2" Tall and the base is one piece measuring 4&1/4" Across.In doing the research for this listing we came upon other similar items. None were a Candleholder in this style. None were Green in color for that matter. We saw this piece no w at all.The Goebel Company has long been known for the M.I.Hummel line of Collectible figurines, this piece is strikingly Hummel in facial features and overall appearance.The coat is flat in sheen while the trim and her wings and the base are gloss, adding just that extra touch of subtle charm, in classic Goebel design.The bottom is stamped 42 412-09 & 1958, with the Goebel W Germany logo. It had a paper Sticker at one time but not now, we left the residual glue alone w it is. Also ROBSON is imprinted on the back of the coat.This is a Lovely piece and belongs with others of the same origin. So if you are a Collector of either M.I.Hummel or of Goebel, is one piece to pay attention to.Happy Bidding!
