You are looking at a very, very tough Goebel OI flat top beer can. This is Lilek # 339 rated R-9/R-6. Look closely and you will see by the opening instructions and the lack of the "Brewed and Packed By" statement in the brewery info, that this is indeed a super tough variation. This is the very first Goebel OI to use the "Americanized eagle" design. Collectors recognize this can as one of the toughest, if not THE toughest Goebel OI to acquire. Up until recently, this can wasn't known to exist in ongrade condition. The lid on this can has been removed, with barely visible gear marks underneath the top rim. The bottom is 100% shine. This indoor can has only a few humidity spots and small scratches. Lots of beautiful smooth, shiney copper color and finish. Several weeks ago, I saw a similar example get bid up to $ 294 and NOT MEET RESERVE. I am starting with a low opening bid, so this can will sell.
