Chick Girl, HUM 57/I , modeled by Goebel master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1936, later remodeled by Gerhard Skrobek in 1964. Listed in some old catalogues as Little Chicken Mother and The Little Chick Girl. This example bears production Tradmark #6, used from 1979 through 1990 . The sculpture features a little girl in brown dress, light red apron and red kerchief on her head, kneeling, with a basket supported by her left arm. The basket contains two yellow chicks with another perched on the basket edge. A fourth chick is sitting on the base under her right hand. A 2003 Hummel price guide lists value at $320 - $340.
