Hello and thank you again for looking at another one of my Gold Paydirt auctions. Today you will be bidding on raw earth taken from high up in the mountains, near my home in North Idaho. This Gold was taken from a 'hidden location' behind the historic gold mining town of Murray. Somew up behind that little town, tucked back in a little nook, t is this draw in between a couple of mountains, which runs a seasonal creek... This creek is dry by early June, and even when its running - its nothing more than a slight trickle. I've never found a soul anyw near this spot, and this has been my best gold producer! (hmmm imagine that) Very hidden! This location is literally saturated with gold. T is exposed bedrock all around, and in a couple of nice spots you can visually see gold being scooped up by your shovel as you scrape it off the bedrock. I wish you could all see it, but I did what I can with pictures. Hopefully the pictures will do it justice. What I do in this spot (due to its extreme inaccessability) is hike in about 100 yards from the road, er well.. the jeep trail, then I take my bucket, and my pan,my pick - shovel - garden shovel - classifier - and a bucket or two and hike in! After a couple hours of scooping dirt from bedrock and classifying it all, I hike the heavy buckets down to the jeep, make my return trips to gather my tools and then its down to the river to see what I got! I never leave disappointed, and usually, I leave with a few grams or more of gold! (one summer I got over 3 ounces walking up this draw all within 15 feet of itself) I dont know if you've ever tried to hike an 80lbs bucket down a mountain draw.. but its certainly no easy task. :-) I will be listing a couple other gold auctions from this location, and some auctions from another location as well.. The other location is on the river, which means that the concentrates are much cleaner, and more gravel like rather than dirt like. -if anybody had a preference- Everything has been classified down to 1/4" which should make panning easier. I did not spend time prospecting for myself on this trip, so I cannot verify the quantity of gold that you will be receiving. **HOWEVER** If you notice my pictures, today I took a few scoops from the bucket and panned it out and you can visually see the results. Stunning isn't it?!?!?!? Wow!! Imagine what a person could do in this spot with a highbanker or perhaps a little water? Anywho, I spend the time sweating in the woods, hiking, shoveling, tripping, falling, cursing, laughing and carrying this raw Idaho earth down from the mountains so that I can offer it up to all of you on ebay!! What you see is what you get! Each auction will be for a different quantity of gold wether its 6lbs, 8 lbs, 10bls or more - you will be guaranteed a great experience with your purchase. I usually have sold my paydirt bags at street fair's, and donated them to local school science classes. I've even been a guide to take a couple of groups of kids & parents into the woods for a "real gold panning experience". Thats neither nor t, but it certainly shows that I'm dedicated and commited to this darned gold thing.
