I am pleased to present this vintage GOLD GILT METAL & STONE FANCY HAND BELL from THE ESTATE OF ANN MILLER This bell (and other vanity type items) were purchased at the Bonhams & Butterfields auction of the Ann Miller Estate. Items from Ms. Miller's estate were sold to benefit the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. I will provide a copy of the auction catalog as well as a copy of the purchase receipt to prove autheniticity.See the Ann Miller bio below. A lovely hand bell in an unusual presentation - from the home of an old time Hollywood glamour star!The bell is wonderfully carved - it looks like hand work to me. The handle is formed in the shape of a heart. It looks like 2 vines coming together to form the heart. Very sweet! T are 5 cabochan shaped jade color green stones surrounding the area under the handle.Below that is scroll work with applied flowers and 5 pearl like cabochan stones.Below that are another 5 cabochan shaped jade color green stones. At the bottom rim of the bell is applied scroll work and a gold roped edge.Height is approx 5" to the top of the handle.Make a good loud clanging noise.Retains it's Bonhams & Butterfields tag reading lot #7205 of the auction.Shipmentis $6.00 via USPS priority mail.
