Iridescent Calcite Keokuk Geodeclosed geode dimensions: 2-3/4 in X 2-1/4 in X 2 inweight: 7.4 ozThis amazing Keokuk geode features metallic luster iridescent brown calcite crystals and equally brilliant clear calcite crystals. The brown psuedocubic calcite crystals have ingested goethite making them iridescent, they reflect hues of green-gold off of their crystals' faces. This iridescent brown has larger pseudocubes than most do, giving larger flashes of iridescent colors! Later growths of clear calcite crystals formed atop the brown adding to its fantastic crystallization.
