This auction is for a RARE gold plated International 8-16 Kerosene Tractor from the Case International Harvester IH dealer show held in Denver CO. This toy tractor is 1 of only 5 that were ever made for this show. There were 3 dealer shows on different days of that week. There was one dealer winner picked at each show. Mr. Ertl said that 3 would be awarded to dealers.....1 was going to be for his personal collection and the other was going to go in his museum. I won this 1/16th scale tractor in a drawing held by Scale Models at the show. In the pictures you will see the Scale Model ticket stub from the show. Joe Ertl was at the show to award the tractors. I had the pleasure to meet him and he said about the tractors being gold plated. I did not ask him what K they were plated with. I have never taken this tractor out of the box as you can still see the original zip tie holding it down at the bottom of the box. It has been in my safe since I brought it home! The Scale Models #2125 ticket stub is included in his auction. Shipping for this tractor is 20.00 in the lower 48 states.
