Description: Gentleman's gilt hunting case pocket watch, case made by the Dennison Watch Case Company of Liverpool. Case: 1.75" x 2.5" x 0.5" gold filled hunting case with polished covers, fluted ball pendant and bow at the three position and the inside cover marked for the Dennison 'Moon' indicating a guarantee of 20 years for the gilt finish to survive intact. The gold skin over the base metal covers was 10k gold. Inside the cover one finds the 'ALD' and Dennison trademark containing the sun, moon and star as well as their engraved name and case number. Dial: White porcelain dial with fine Roman hour chapter, closed minute track, sunken subsidiary seconds dial at the six position and European steel spade hands. jewelled movement.
