From the estate of a Palm Springs, CA collector of WESTERN EPHEMERA comes this guaranteed ORIGINAL, SCARCE BILLHEAD from TRIBUNE BOOK AND STATIONERY STORE, TRIBUNE PRINTING COMPANY, GOLDFIELD NEVADA in the amount of $1.45 for STENO BOOK & COVERS, to GOLDFIELD CONSOLIDATED MINES CO. GOLDFIELD CONSOLIDATED is famous. It was organized in 1906 by WINGFIELD & NIXON and began operating a huge 100-stamp mill at the base of COLUMBIA MOUNTAIN. It ceased operation in 1918 but the building survived the flood of 1913 and the fire of 1923 and still stands. The TIBUNE BUILDING burned in 1923. The BILL measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
