The feature auction of the evening is this awesome pair of Gompotherium molars. These fossils are from the Miocene period of the region and are estimated to be 10-15 million years in age.These teeth are in very good condition as evidenced by the chewing surface which has little wear. The teeth are solid weighing 2 12- 3 /14 pounds, the largest tooth which is the one with a partial root system measures 6 1/2 inches in length, 3 1/4 inches in width and 4 inches in height . The other tooth measures 6 1/4 inches in length, 4 inches in height in height and 2 7/8 inches in width. Their shiny Black enamel makes these teeth really stand out. I can assure you will never see a pair like this again.I really wouldn't even put them up for sale, but my boat motor was stolen and I need it go find more fossils.AS A BONUS I AM OFFERING FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!!!
