The LION KING"Can't Wait to Be King" SericelThe Lion King, Disney Sericel Features Simba Getting Ready to be KING as he roars. Very cute piece for a boy growing into a man, ugh, Lion. This piece was created in 1994 and is part of a limited edition of 7500. This piece is complete with the Disney Seal embossed on the cel, in the lower right corner. This piece is made to please as it is easily the BEST looking sericel from The Lion King.Piece was issued originally, by Disney as part of the Art of the Lion King Book. It was issued without a background. Original Disney issued archival Matting with the words The LION KING embossed into the matting. The Lion King is a 1994 animated feature film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 32nd film in the Disney animated feature canon, and the highest-grossing traditionally animated feature film in the United States. The film focuses on a young lion in Africa named Simba, who learns of his place in the "Circle of Life" while struggling through various obstacles to become the rightful king.
