** Please visit our other auctions for the matching covered sugar bowl and teapot (less the lid), in another auction!** This extremely fine antique Nippon Moriage demitasse cup and saucer is truly stunning! Dates to the late 1890s to early 1900s. The hand painted enamel work is absolutely superb. The mold is of the finest porcelain, delicately eggshell light. The complex and artistically designed pattern features alternating medallions of mixed florals surrounded by many alternating patterns with tons and tons of high raised relief enamel (moriage) details throughout! I've taken many photos for your review, however they truly do no justice! Very complex and exquisite pattern! Colors are in soft pastel shades pale pink, sherbet pink, pale greens and accents of blue and lots of gold. The set is unmarked, however I guarantee it to be of Japanese origin, and I just know you will not be disappointed! **BONUS! I'm including an extra saucer for the winning bidder in hopes you find her matching cup :) If not, you'll have an extra! All are in Excellent condition, with No chips, No cracks, No hairlines, No breaks, No repairs and No restorations. Measurements are approx. (cup) 1-3/4" in high by 2-1/4" in diameter across the top (excluding handle). The saucer measures approx. 5" by 5" square. Should you have any questions, please do not read more
