This is a gorgeous beaded peacock design purse(?) or pendant on a 26" long beaded double strand. I don't really know why the little 2" square area is open as a pouch or purse. (See the 4th picture.) The beads are all peacock or iridescent colors which shine and almost glow, just wonderful, not gaudy. The back of the pouch is also well-beaded in solid peacock beads. I bought this at least 20 years ago at an antique and art show. I don't know the age. It is like new and very beautiful. I only wore it once. I have displayed it flat. I collect peacocks and it has been a favorite in my collection. I am just downsizing now. I am including a pair of goldfilled beaded ball earrings, bought later to match the necklace and also worn only once. Please look closely and ask questions. This is so beautiful and should go to someone who appreciates the beauty, artistry, the peacock, ... It's a great piece! I am a gemologist and love jewelry. I am listing several of my own pieces which I have purchased over the years from dealers I trust. They are great pieces but I am downsizing now. The metal is stamped or has been tested. The stones are genuine - not synthetic or simulated. Don't laugh : You can "trust me".
