They are English blue transferware and are decorated with flowers, ferns palaces on the interior and peacocks, fountains and more on the exterior. Each measures 2.5" tall and 4.25" in diameter. This auction offers a set of five matching cups. They are believed to be from the mid 1800's. OVERALL CONDITION IS VERY GOOD, especially when you consider their age. There are NO chips, NO cracks, NO flakes on any of them. The color on four of them is quite good. One of them has some definite yellowing and discoloration. Much of this will go away by soaking in water and bleach. Still, to find a set is rare, you usually see singles. They're gorgeous and offered with NO RESERVE! I ACCEPT PAYPAL.
