This old razor has a lot going for it. First off, it looks almost new. Horn scales are so shiny they look like bakelite, but horn it is. Three-pin design is super stable. Genuine ivory tang is etched "CLEMENTS", with reverse saying "SHEFFIELD MADE". Blade is full and clean, not pitted. I'm sure this would make a great shaver, but I never honed it because it looks like it was never honed, so I left it "virginal". Measures 6/8+ in width. T is gold wash in the letters of the etching on the blade, and says "Chas Clements, Savoy, Tested Highest Grade Steel". My friend Steve (that's English Steve, to differentiate from Philly Steve, and a tip 'o the cap to ye both!) tells me that Charles Clement's main shop was in the basement of what is now the Savoy Hotel in London, so that, no doubt, explains the "Savoy" trademark. Unusually fine razor like you don't see very often. NOTE: I see a small "indentation" on the front scale. I'm not sure of its origin, but it could certainly be buffed out. Otherwise perfect. Because this item contains ivory, Ebay informs me that I can only list for sale in the United States. Not all the razors I have to sell are without problems, but I will do my best with pictures and descriptions to let you know what you are bidding on.
