GORGEOUS ANTIQUE LAMP SHADE SILK AND TASSLES CLICK ANY PHOTO to ENLARGE Please note: CLICK-on photos take TIME to load. This auction is for a truly wonderful French antique Art Deco style lamp shade which dates back possibly to the 1930's or even the roaring 20's !! It has multiple panels of filmy sheer silk and floral panels alternating finished with metallic lace silk tassles in two tones of matching tones it looks great. It is quite lovely lit or unlit !! We do not have an appropriate lamp base for it so so it is displayed on a floor lamp just so you can see how it looks. (floor lamp is not included in this auction). PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Shade is a little dusty after all these years but it is a fabulous large shade and measures 26 inches across. From the top of the shade at it's longest part is 9 inches including the tassles. The metal center holder is in good shape The underside of the shade has some shredded areas which we taped up - so you may want to stitch back together or replace with a new lining This shade would look great in your vintage 1930's interior decorator style living room or romantic bedroom.
